An Australian woman has shown off her newly-sparkling bathroom and tips to making grout look brand new.

'I am legit enjoying scrubbing the grout,' she said alongside photos of her sparkling white floor

She explained that she used Domestos to scrub the floor before mopping it with hot water.

She also shared a picture of the long-handled scrubbing brush she used to clean the tiles.

'This looks amazing, thank you so much,' remarked one woman.

'Don't sweat the critics, I love this post and pictures, I am so going to try this,' one woman said.

'You have convinced me to give this a go, I have tried Jiff with a scrubbing brush and the results were a bit hit and miss,' one woman said.

Others have tried using the cleaner and agree it is amazing.

'I just cleaned my shower with Domestos today, tiles came up sparkling and the tiles are pure white. I dripped it into the grout grooves and smeared it all over the tiles and left it with the windows open and a fan on for a few hours. Came back and showered it off,' one woman said.

But some people warned hot water mixed with the bleach-based cleaner could be dangerous if not used carefully.

'Oh gosh, why? Domestos shouldn't be mixed with hot water as the fumes can be toxic and harmful,' one worried mum said.

Others stood up for the mum and said it can be used safely.

'Bleach releases chlorine gas whether it is used with hot or cold water, that's why you should use in a well-ventilated area. Heat speeds up the chemical reaction so it is actually more effective to use hot water. Just keep your windows open,' another avid cleaner said.

Grout cleaning hacks are popular in Australia, recently another woman shared her trick - using a 'non-toxic' product.

one mum revealed how she cleaned the mould-ridden grout in her home using an unlikely natural product.

Posting a demonstrative video to the Mums Who Clean Facebook group, Violeta said she used the Earth Choice Toilet Cleaner Power Gel Aqua Fresh - priced at $2 per 750mL bottle from Woolworths and Coles.

'Look at this beauty. I poured bathroom cleaner (eco, but Harpic also works) and let it act for 15 minutes, then [gave it] a quick brush,' Violeta captioned the social media post.

The natural product worked exceptionally well at removing the dark dirt and mould from the grout and left a sparkling white finish.

To clean the grout, she squirted the product onto the tiles and used a toothbrush to remove the unwanted dirt.

The affordable natural product is ideal for those who want to avoid using bleach when cleaning.

According to the product description, the Earth Choice Toilet Cleaner removes 99.9% of germs, delivers a 'powerful sparkling clean' and is made from plant derived ingredients.

Violeta admitted she opted to try the product after another woman from the Facebook group recommended the buy.

After recommending the natural product online, others couldn't believe how well the toilet cleaner worked on the grout.

'I'm getting this! Sad when you get excited over cleaners that make your life easier' one woman said.

'I know what I'm doing this weekend, I have a whole kitchen floor to do,' another said.

A third recommended: 'A larger grout brush would make that job a lot quicker and easier.'
