Cleaning fan explains 'expert' way to clean window and mirror without any streaks
A woman has shared a cleaning hack for polishing mirror and glass windows and claims it works so well it is like a professional window cleaner has done the job.
In a TikTok video, Mai @maizimmy explains her method and it's perfect for shorter people because it allows you to reach high spaces without climbing ladders.
She says: "This window and mirror cleaning hack is the best, all you need is a Swiffer mop, the glass cleaner of your choice, and a microfibre polishing cloth."
Mai then clears her bathroom counter of beauty products and bottles and gets to work on the mirror above the sink, which is covered with toothpaste marks.
She then sprays the mirror and attaches the microfibre cloth to the bottom of the mop.
"It's fine to have some overhang because that will stay dry for a second pass," she explains as she firs the cloth to the bottom of the mop.
Mai then rubs the mop and microfibre cloth up and down on her mirror for a gleaming, no-streaks finish.
"Just like a professional window cleaner you can clean and polish up your mirror, glass, whatever," she comments.
The clip was watched more than 4 million times since Mai uploaded it on the video-sharing app and people in the comments were full of praise for the idea.
